Rag-Weed

A remedy for hay fever lachrymation and intolerable itching of the eye lids. Some forms of whooping cough. Respiratory tract in its entire length stopped up.

WYETHIA

Poison-Weed

Has marked effecrs on the throat, and has proven an excellent remedy in pharyngits, especially the follicular form. Irritable throat. Hay-fever symptoms; itching in posterior nares.

EUPHRASIA

Eyebright

Manifest itself in inflaming the conjunctival membrane especially, producing profuse lachrymation. Patient is better in open air. Catarrhal affections of mucous membranes especially of eyes and nose. Profuse acrid lachrymationa nd bland coryza; worse evening Hawking up of offensive mucus.


ALLIUM CEPA

Red Onion

A picture of coryza, with acrid nasal discharge and laryngeal symptoms eye secretion bland; worse in warm room and toward evening; better in open air  Colds in damp cold weather. Traumatic chronic neuritis.  Burning in nose, mouth, throat, bladder and skin. Sensation of glowing heat on different parts of the body.

SABADILLA

Cevadilla

Action on muccus membrane of the nose and the lachrymal glands, producing coryza and symptoms like hay-fever. which have been utilized homeopathically. Chilliness, sensitive to cold.

Arsanicum

Air-passages constricted. Burning in chest. Suffocative catarrh. Cough worse after midnight; worse lying on back. Expetoration scanty, frothy. Wheezing respiration. Cough dry. Thin watery, excoriating discharge. Nose feels stopped up. Sneezing without relief. Hay-fever and coryza; worse in open air, better indoors.

PULSATILLA

Wind Flower

Itching and burning in eyes. Profuse lachrymation and secretion of mucus. Lids inflamed, agglutinated. Coryza; stoppage of right nostril, pressing pain at root of nose. Loss of smell. Large green fetid scales in nose. Stoppage in evening. Yellow mucus; abundant in morning. Bad smells, as of old catarrh. Nasal bones sore.

BRYONIA

Wild Hops

Dryness of mouth, tongue and throat, with excessive thirst. Tough mucus in larynx and trachea. Loosened only after much hawking, worse coming into warm room. Dry, hacking cough from irritation in upper trachea, worst after eating or drinking.

HEPAR SULPH

All symptoms start after exposer to dry cold wind. Sore nostrils. Sneezes with runny nose, later, thick, offensive discharge. Stitches in throat extending to the ear when swallowing Hawkind up of mucus. Croup with loose, rattling cough.


THUJA OCCIDENTALIS

Eastern white cedar

Ulceration within the nostrils. Dryness of nasal cavities. Painful pressure at root. Dry, hacking cough with pain in pit of stomach. Stitches in chest; worse, cold drinks.
